Victoria Edwards Tester

Victoria Edwards Tester is the author of Miracles of Sainted Earth (2002), inaugural volume in the University of New Mexico Press’s poetry series, and Dying in the City of Flowers (2003), an autobiographical novel. She was born in 1964, raised in Texas, and received an M.A. in Creative Writing and Literature from the University of Houston. She abandoned her doctoral studies, in 1994, to return to the mountains of New Mexico, inspired by old family stories and her father’s love for the land. She lives near Silver City.
